It has been a while since the release of v7.1. It is the longest break between the versions ever. We had lots of dramas and holdups with v7.2.
There was lots of effort invested into a long-shot completely new technology aimed at v8. It is on a temporary hold now.
There were also long and time-consuming projects of our important customers. Some are still going on.
We have lost (figuratively) valuable developers due to the Ukraine war.
And also, the web host drama...
But we are getting there. Some customers are already using v7.2. It should be released in 2-3 months.
The main feature will be a .NET 6 - based version of DGKC control. This was another big hurdle, due to the dramatic changes in the .NET core and Microsoft's dropping support for managed C++. We had to develop own technology for the interop.
