32 bit

Post by Nick »

Hello everyone.

We do not have plans for dropping support for 32 bit applications, but generally it is going out of scope. It can also happen precipitously. Have you seen any 16-bit computers around?

The components we are building it the tip of a dependency iceberg. We use several major third-party assemblies and few smaller ones. If, say Open Cascade stops supporting 32 bit because few suppliers do not provide their components, we would have to stop it also.

So, please plan ahead. I believe any new development has to be done either in AnyCPU or x64 platforms only.

Happy coding
