Hello
I have a dental 3D scan as and STL. It is little dirty. Can I do automated trimming/clipping of the surface using this software?
Any help is appreciated

Certainly. There are few options.
In the current v7.4 you can use planar clipping demoed in the Planar Ops sample.
You could also clip by another surface defined interactively. It can be a cylindrical, spherical, etc. or like extruded prism defined using overlays with mouse clicks.
Or you could build the clipping surface in code using IPick_DG like in Pick sample for the user input.
In v6.* we had yet another clipping with a free-form curve drawn by hand on a mesh. We have stopped supporting it for few reasons, but we can look at it again if you really like it.
